For the past two years, I've collaborated with my team at GoSpooky on JBL Land—an immersive Roblox experience where players explore vibrant worlds to collect "Soundbytes," solve puzzles, and create music using a fully functional sampling machine.
Their compositions can then be shared across the game via interactive jukeboxes, fostering a dynamic player community. The project features four distinct explorable worlds, mini-games, and quests, blending music, adventure, and social interaction.
My key contributions:
Spearheaded project build pipeline setup and core systems development.
Designed and implemented modular quest system, player progression system, NPC Dialogue system, inventory, music sampling machine-enabling players to save and share their creations.
VFX and UI implementation.
Contributed to game design, and assisted in team management to ensure timely delivery.
Acted as a bridge between creative and technical teams, advising on feasibility, scope, and deadlines to balance innovation with execution.
